Welcome to the Gaia School of Natural Health

Level 5 2016-17 Level 5 2016-17

Located in NW England, with venues in Chester and on the Wirral peninsular, the Gaia School of Natural Health is a highly respected private training school for complementary therapies. Established in 2008, our graduates are now employed in holistic centres, hospices and hospitals, gyms, schools and private practice across Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and further afield. Our ethos is to provide detailed, thorough, high standard and in depth training. We therefore offer the highest level of reflexology training available (Level 5) and ensure that all our courses meet, and often go beyond, the National Occupational Standards and Core Curriculum for each therapy. Your qualification will be accepted the top professional associations, insurers and national registers. We therefore do not offer short cut or fast track courses.

We currently offer the following professionally accredited qualifications:

Level 5 Diploma in
Practitioner Reflexology
accredited by Agored Cymru

Level 3 Diploma in
Indian Head Massage
accredited by the FHT

A programme of CPD events for qualified therapists is also available such as:

All CPD courses taught by Carolyn Roberts are accredited by the Professional Reflexology Association.

Or for those completely new to reflexology, a day course to introduce you to this wonderful therapy and perhaps inspire you to pursue a fulfilling career in reflexology.

Introduction to
Reflexology

Level 5 Reflexology

Here at the Gaia School we are thrilled to be running the Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology. This Level 5 is the highest level of reflexology training available in the UK. We teach clinical reflexology with a strong holistic emphasis on energy work and meridian theories, and also a specialist focus on fertility and maternity reflexology. We aim to equip prospective practitioners with a thorough and professional grounding in both practical and theoretical knowledge, and to equip them with all the skills necessary to become gifted and versatile health professionals.

Reflexology in action

This Level 5 course is an advancement in the arena of reflexology training. Prior to its development the highest qualification available was the Diploma at Level 3. For those of you who are wanting to learn Reflexology at the highest level and practice clinical and therapeutic reflexology then this Level 5 Diploma is the course for you. Please note that the Level 5 course is aimed at beginners rather than already qualified reflexologists, so no prior learning is required.

The course is accepted by:

The Association of Reflexologists for full membership (MAR status) and you will meet the requirements for joining the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) - the independent UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners.

Successful graduates from this Level 5 course will be recognised by the letters IRC (Dip5) after their names.

Reflexology Testimonial

”If you are thinking about learning Reflexology at level 5 or any other course that Carolyn offers at the 'Gaia School of Natural Health' you will learn amazing lifetime skills and invaluable knowledge around health and wellbeing both in theories and practicals.
It's been a very inspirational, powerful and wonderful journey. It has made me feel the confident and professional therapist/practitioner I wanted to be.
You truly won't regret any of it! Go for it!! (I'm already booked onto another...) “ Rhonda Robinson, 2020 Level 5 graduate

AromaReflex Testimonial

”I can highly recommend AromaReflex with GAIA. The course was so well organised from start to finish and the knowledge provided on the course was abundant, clear and well communicated. It was such a good course that I would like to return to do a full aromatherapy course in the future. The tutor was very welcoming and the other students were very friendly too. Certainly one of the best complementary therapy courses I have attended.“

Advanced AromaReflex Testimonial

”This is such an amazing course and has really reinforced my love for Essential Oils. Carolyn has put so much time and consideration into selecting the 40 beautiful oils which we will be working with during our Reflexology treatments! I can't wait to see the powerful effects they will have on my clients. Carolyn is a kind, caring and extremely supportive tutor and made us all feel at such ease through both days. She has made sure we have all the information we require moving forward so we are brimming with confidence!
I loved making the sniffy sticks and roller balls in the practical sessions.
I will definitely be booking another course with Gaia very soon.“
Nicky Muldoon (Sleeping Beauty Therapies) 9-Jun-21

Reiki One Testimonial

”This course was recommended to me as one of the best reiki courses available and I can see why. Carolyn is a very patient and kind teacher and I felt I could ask anything without feeling stupid. The course materials were thorough without being overwhelming and I particularly loved getting to try out some of the things we talked about such as pendulums, gongs and singing bowls. The rest of the class were like-minded, positive people and we all connected well which made the practical parts of the course really nice. I initially took this course just to fulfill my own curiosity but I am now planning on taking my learning much further as I can see the benefits of training in reiki. Yes it was a two day course but it felt like I was taking those two days just for myself. If you are considering booking I would 100% recommend that you do.“
