We are based in South Wirral on the border between Cheshire and Merseyside, and within easy reach of Chester, Wrexham, North Wales, Warrington, Liverpool and the Isle of Man.

The Principal and Main Course Tutor of the School is Carolyn Roberts MSc MAR PRM CRM L5 Tutor, who has been a qualified and practising reflexologist and aromatherapist since 1999. She is also a qualified adult education teacher, Reiki Master Teacher and holds a MSc in Holistic Health.

Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD)

Course led by Sally Kay, Expert Adviser to the Federation of Holistic Therapists.


Course content

Day 1 ~ Part 1 Introduction

  • Summary of existing RLD research
  • Review of the Lymphatic system
  • Lymphoedema causes & treatment
  • RLD for Breast cancer related secondary lymphoedema
  • Measure & calculate the volume of the arm
  • Demonstration & practical

Day 2 ~ Part 2 Advanced

  • Review of the Immune system
  • Auto-immune disorders and the inflammatory response
  • Using RLD with other conditions
  • RLD and lymphoedema in the leg, & other areas
  • RLD hand reflexes
  • Demonstration & practical

According to Sally's website, feedback and early indications from those using RLD suggest it may also be helpful when treating clients with symptoms of other conditions, such as lethargy, migraine, pre-menstrual fluid retention and sluggishness. Others are using RLD hand reflexes for self-help.

In 2012, Sally was announced as the winner of the FHT Excellence in Practice Awards 2012 for researching and developing RLD.
