Reiki 2

Our Reiki 2 course builds on the skills you learned on Reiki 1 and is for those who wish to learn more about Reiki, either for the benefit of themselves and their friends and family, or because you want to qualify as a Reiki practitioner. If you are following our Reiki Practitioner Course, then this must start with Reiki 1 and end with Reiki 2, but the modules in between can be taken in any order, and you can take as long as you need to complete the full course. Please do not book onto a Reiki 2 course until you have attended your Reiki 1 training. At this point you will appreciate fully what is involved in the whole training course and will have a better idea as to when you might be ready to undertake a Reiki 2 course (including having completed your case studies from Reiki 1).

The course consists of 22.5 hours (over three days) and includes the following:

  • The Reiki symbols, their origins, and different ways of using them
  • In person attunements
  • Space clearing
  • Creating a healing space
  • Using crystals in Reiki
  • Reiki shares
  • Observation of practical skills
  • Visit to Claire House Children’s Hospice (subject to Covid-19 protocol permissions) to discover how reiki is used with the children and families there

You must attend Reiki 1 before you can attend Reiki 2. You can choose to attend Reiki 1 and 2 purely for personal reasons. If you choose not to complete the case studies and other assessment elements, then you will be given a certificate of attendance ONLY, which makes it clear that you are not qualified to practice reiki as a professional practitioner. Please follow the link for further information on the full Reiki Practitioner Course

Paying for your course/workshop

In the last few days we have had a number of customers express concern that their UK bank was advising them that it might not be safe to proceed with payment to Gaia School of Natural Health's (GSNH) business bank account, as their UK bank was unable to verify the payee's name with the account sort code and account number entered. This is a new process of "confirmation of Payee" which most of the major UK banks have signed up to implementing, in order to mitigate fraud.

Unfortunately not all UK banks have yet adapted their systems for this to work. GSNH's bank The Co-operative Bank Plc is one such UK bank and is scheduled to update their systems sometime before the end of 2020. Consequently, if your UK Bank has got the system up and running it is likely to highlight the risk of sending money to an account where the name of the account holder is not verified, and the message will identify to you, that any monies paid out will not be refunded if lost or stolen.

From the GSNH perspective, the sort code and account number identified during the booking process is correct and valid. We can not advise you to disregard your UK bank's warning, but with commonsense in mind, you may wish to continue through the payment process by making a notional payment (eg. 1p or £1) which GSNH can confirm receipt of. Once we have confirmed the receipt of this small payment you may then proceed with confidence to send the remaining balance. Alternatively you may prefer to select the cheque payment method.

Hopefully this notice will alleviate some of your concerns and make you aware of the existence of this new payment verification process, and reassure you that the bank details supplied by GSNH during the online booking form process are correct and legitimate.

If you have any further concerns about making payments to GSNH, please let us know via the contact form

”...The last 3 days training in my level 2 in Reiki were amazing with such high energies created from Carolyn to her students. Carolyn even includes and takes you on a drumming journey during her Reiki attunements, which I have never experienced before but is very powerful...“
